Pennsylvania v. Labron

In Pennsylvania v. Labron, 518 U.S. 938, the defendant's wife parked the truck on private property, then was arrested with the defendant as part of a drug sting. The Supreme Court determined that the truck search was proper because the police had probable cause to believe there were drugs in the truck. The Supreme Court held that "if a car is readily mobile and probable cause exists to believe it contains contraband, the Fourth Amendment thus permits police to search the vehicle without more."
