Butch Randolph & Assocs., Inc. v. Int'l Fid. Ins. Co

In Butch Randolph & Assocs., Inc. v. Int'l Fid. Ins. Co., 212 Ariz. 550, 136 P.3d 232 (App. 2006), an unlicensed subcontractor sued to recover the value of materials it furnished for a park project. In affirming judgment in the subcontractor's favor, the court held that although A.R.S. 32-1153 (2008) generally bars recovery by an unlicensed contractor, the licensing requirement does not apply to a supplier of materials.
