Andrews v. County of Orange

In Andrews v. County of Orange (1982) 130 Cal. App. 3d 944, the insertion of evidence into deliberations not based on common knowledge directly contradicted otherwise uncontroverted evidence presented at trial. Further, the court in Andrews cited numerous acts of juror misconduct, controverted evidence regarding the conduct involved in discussing evidence not presented at trial, and noted that the resolution of a matter at issue involved the determination of the source of the noise.
