Bowman v. McPheeters

Bowman v. McPheeters (1947) 77 Cal.App.2d 795, held that a fiduciary relationship exists between the patient and the physician. As a result, the physician has a duty to disclose fully and completely the nature and extent of injuries and any material concealment or misrepresentation will amount to fraud sufficient to entitle the party injured thereby to a cause of action.
