In re Calvin P

In In re Calvin P. (2009) 178 Cal.App.4th 958, reunification services were ordered for the mother, but the agency disregarded the order and instead required family maintenance services when the children were placed in the father's custody. (178 Cal.App.4th at p. 962.) The appellate court ordered that mother receive reunification services, holding that if a court exercises its discretion to order a reunification case plan for a parent, the agency must follow through and provide reasonable reunification services. (Id. at p. 964.)
