In re K.C

In In re K.C. (2012) 212 Cal.App.4th 323, the child protective services agency failed to follow through in any meaningful way on a psychologist's recommendation that the father, who suffered from a significant mental illness, be assessed for psychotropic medication. (In re K.C, at p. 329.) The medication evaluation was of particular importance due to the court's finding that the father's failure to cooperate and engage in services was a product of his mental illness, which may be responsive to medication. (Id. at p. 330.)
