In re Marriage of Romero

In In re Marriage of Romero (2002) 99 Cal.App.4th 1436 Fourth Dist., Div. Two, the Court held that "the trial court must not only exclude the new spouse's income, but also the additional expenses resulting from the remarriage." (Id. at p. 1445.) "The court must determine what expenses are reasonable based only on the husband's net monthly income. . . . Where the actual numbers would produce an inequitable result, the trial court must exercise greater discretion based on all the available facts and every appropriate consideration." (Id. at pp. 1445-1446.)
