Lovret v. Seyfarth

In Lovret v. Seyfarth (1972) 22 Cal. App. 3d 841, the court found that Mrs. Seyfarth could not assert that she was not a party to an agreement calling for arbitration of disputes because: (1) the agreement stated she was a party; (2) her husband stated under oath that he was acting as her agent at the time he signed the agreement; (3) she stated that she was a party to the agreement in a pleading filed with the court; and (4) participated in the arbitration proceeding, even filing a counter-claim.
