Maloney v. Maloney

In Maloney v. Maloney, (1933), 67 Cal. App. 2d 278, the husband, wife, and children were physically residing in California at the time the proceedings were commenced. During the pendency of the action, the husband moved out-of-state, taking the children with him. The appellate court concluded that once jurisdiction was initially properly acquired, subsequent actions by one party could not divest the court of jurisdiction. (Ibid.)
