National American Ins. Co. v. Insurance Co. of North America

In National American Ins. Co. v. Insurance Co. of North America (1977) 74 Cal.App.3d 565, a pedestrian sued the occupant of a vehicle who had thrown an egg at his face, causing the loss of an eye. The court found that the car, and thus the egg, were traveling at 40 miles per hour at the time of the impact and thus the accident resulted from "auto-related" conduct.
