National Auto. & Cas. Ins. Co. v. Underwood

In National Auto. & Cas. Ins. Co. v. Underwood (1992) 9 Cal.App.4th 31, the Court considered whether a policy covering "'any resident of the same household'" as the named insured covered children injured in an accident. The parents, one of whom was the insured, shared joint custody. The Court found the term "'resident'" as used in the policy was capable of at least two reasonable constructions when applied to the joint custody circumstances of the case. ( Id. at p. 40.)
