In People v. Alistar Ins. Co. (2003) 115 Cal.App.4th 122, the bail agent had cooperation from the defendant's family, and reason to believe the defendant was in a particular geographic area. (Alistar, supra, 115 Cal.App.4th at pp. 128-129.) From those facts, the court drew the reasonable inference that, with an extension of time, the defendant was likely to be recaptured.
