People v. Azure

In People v. Azure (1986) 178 Cal. App. 3d 591, the defendant was interrogated at a police station for four hours. The Court of Appeal found that the defendant's confession was involuntary based largely on the interrogating officer's repeated statements that the interrogation would not stop, implying that the defendant was not free to leave, until he confessed. (Azure, supra, 178 Cal. App. 3d 591, 601-602.)
