People v. Bacigalupo

In People v. Bacigalupo (1991) 1 Cal.4th 103, the California Supreme Court held that a vague and unsubstantiated assertion that Colombian Mafia had threatened to kill defendant and his family if he did not kill the victim did not constitute substantial evidence that the threat of harm to him was imminent. (1 Cal.4th at p. 125.)
