People v. Goodliffe

In People v. Goodliffe (2009) 177 Cal.App.4th 723, the defendant pleaded no contest to four sexual offenses committed against four children. Only one of the offenses, count 9, was a section 667.6, subdivision (e) offense. The defendant's sentence included a discretionary full consecutive term on count 9 pursuant to section 667.6, subdivision (c). The appellate court concluded that the full consecutive term was unauthorized because the defendant's "crimes did not 'involve the same victim on the same occasion' as required by section 667.6, subdivision (c)." (Id., at p. 727.)
