People v. Harrell

In People v. Harrell (1989) 207 Cal. App. 3d 1439, where a prior serious felony conviction for second degree burglary was alleged, it was necessary to look to the entire record of conviction to establish that the burglary was of a residence. The information filed in the burglary case charged the defendant with the burglary of the victim's residence, and the minute order of the defendant's plea in that matter indicated that he had pled no contest to burglary "as charged in the Information." This evidence was found sufficient to support the serious felony allegation.
