People v. Humiston

In People v. Humiston (1993) 20 Cal.App.4th 460, the defendant's dislike of the victim was acknowledged. She sought to establish that her dislike was not because the victim supplied another individual with drugs, inasmuch as defendant herself had been a drug user. The defendant's drug history thus became relevant to motive for involvement in the murder as well as to impeach her credibility. (Humiston, supra, at pp. 478-479.)
