People v. McQuiston

In People v. McQuiston (1968) 264 Cal. App. 2d 410, the appellate court concluded the trial court did not abuse its discretion in granting leave to amend a complaint to correct the date of an alleged prior conviction from 1954 to 1951 and to correct the place of the prior conviction. The error was merely typographical and did not change the nature of the charges.
