People v. Orozco

In People v. Orozco (1981) 114 Cal.App.3d 435, the court relied upon In re Ronald E. (1977) in holding that a motion to strike a prior was foreclosed by appellant's failure to make a showing that "he had ever attempted to attack or set aside the judgment of conviction in a timely or appropriate manner, or that he had any excuse for failing to do so." ( Orozco, supra, at p. 446.)
