People v. Sonleitner

In People v. Sonleitner (1986) 183 Cal. App. 3d 364, a portion of a large amount of cocaine was flushed down the toilet by the defendant and never chemically analyzed. Because the substance was shown to be part of a larger quantity of cocaine and the defendant's conduct indicated consciousness of guilt, substantial evidence was shown to support a showing that the substance was cocaine.
