People v. Straight

In People v. Straight (1991) 230 Cal. App. 3d 1372, the victim was walking to the drug store when the defendant came up behind her, pressed himself against her back and covered her mouth with his hand. The defendant used his left hand to squeeze the victim's breast and touch her vaginal area. When the victim struggled, the defendant twice told her to be quiet. Defendant then forced the victim two or three steps toward a nearby alley. The victim was ultimately able to pull defendant's hand from her mouth and scream for help. Defendant then released the victim and ran away. ( Id. at pp. 1373-1374.)
