San Diego Hospice v. County of San Diego

In San Diego Hospice v. County of San Diego (1995) 31 Cal.App.4th 1048, the Court interpreted a release between the County, which sold property to the hospice, as successfully resolving "'all disputes that exist or hereafter could arise between them with respect to the site.'" (Id. at p. 1053.) This included releasing the County from all claims "past, present and future, known or unknown, suspected or unsuspected with respect to the site." (Ibid.)
