Smith v. Anglo-California Trust Co

In Smith v. Anglo-California Trust Co. (1928) 205 Cal. 496, appealing lien claimants won a reversal and obtained the right to payment from funds remaining in a building loan account. In providing guidance on remand, the court stated, "the nonappealing lien claimants are not in a position to derive any benefit from the reversal in part of the judgment." ( Id. at p. 505.)
