South Bay Chevrolet v. General Motors Acceptance Corp

In South Bay Chevrolet v. General Motors Acceptance Corp. (1999) 72 Cal. App. 4th 861, the trial court made a factual finding that the defendant's calculation of interest on a 365/360 basis on financing the defendant provided to sophisticated automobile dealers was not likely to mislead the dealers and hence did not violate Business and Professions Code section 17200. The Court found substantial evidence to support the trial court's finding and affirmed its judgment in favor of the defendant. (South Bay, at pp. 888-890.)
