In Sykes v. County of Marin (1974) 43 Cal.App.3d 158, the court held that the county's failure adequately to light the parking lot of a school did not constitute a dangerous and defective condition of the property and that the harm to plaintiffs was caused by the intervening criminal acts of third parties.
