Timperley v. Chase Collection Service

In Timperley v. Chase Collection Service (1969) 272 Cal.App.2d 697, the defendant wrote a letter to plaintiff's employer informing it of an attorney's bill allegedly owed by plaintiff and threatening legal action against the employee plaintiff. There, a judgment for defendant on demurrer was affirmed by the court which declared that it would have been an invasion of plaintiff's privacy to inform the public generally. (P. 700.)
