Wilkins v. National Broadcasting Co

In Wilkins v. National Broadcasting Co. (1999) 71 Cal.App.4th 1066, the court found no invasion of privacy as a matter of law when two salesmen were secretly video and audio taped in a meeting in a public restaurant. The court considered that they consented to meet in a public place and do so in front of two additional men at the table. (Wilkins v. National Broadcasting Co., supra, 71 Cal.App.4th 1066, 1078.)
