Dowdell v. Volvo Commercial Fin., LLC

In Dowdell v. Volvo Commercial Fin., LLC, 286 Ga. App. 659, 661 (649 SE2d 750) (2007), the owners of a truck sought to prove the truck's value through an affidavit that contained no information regarding the affiant's knowledge, experience, or familiarity with the value of the truck, nor any evidence as to the reliability of the valuation method used by the affiant, and the affiant's estimation of value assumed that the mileage of the truck was substantially less than that shown by evidence of record.
