Johnson v. Hames Contracting

In Johnson v. Hames Contracting 208 Ga. App. 664, 667-668 (4) (a), (c) (431 S.E.2d 455) (1993), a painter sought redress for nonphysical injuries associated with his exposure to asbestos. The court held that the employee's claims, which were based on the employer's intentional misconduct, were barred by the exclusivity provisions of the Workers' Compensation Act because they essentially sought redress based on the potential for current or future physical injury.
