In State v. Lowe, 224 Ga. App. 228, 229 (480 SE2d 611) (1997), the Court affirmed the suppression of marijuana and a gun found in the defendant's car pursuant to an inventory search because: "The misdemeanor offense for which he was arrested was in no way related to the vehicle; the vehicle was legally parked in a safe and secure place on private property; the owner of the private property did not request that the vehicle be removed; and Lowe was not asked if there was anyone who could retrieve the vehicle." Id. at 231.
