In Grigoleit Co. v. Pollution Control Board, 245 Ill. App. 3d 337, 613 N.E.2d 371, 184 Ill. Dec. 344 (1993), the petitioner sought administrative review of a decision rendered by the Illinois Pollution Control Board without first requesting a rehearing of the Board's decision. Grigoleit, 245 Ill. App. 3d at 338-39. The appellate court found that the petitioner's failure to request a rehearing did not prohibit it from reviewing the Board's decision. Grigoleit, 245 Ill. App. 3d at 339.
