In People v. Albanese, 104 Ill. 2d 504, 473 N.E.2d 1246, 85 Ill. Dec. 441 (1984), our supreme court noted that there is "no need to review the individual claims of inadequate representation to determine whether counsel acted within the range of reasonable professional assistance" when a "review of the record demonstrates that even assuming that all of the alleged errors constitute substandard representation," the result in the case would not have been altered. Albanese, 104 Ill. 2d at 527.
