People v. Austin

In People v. Austin, 209 Mich App 564; 531 NW2d 811 (1995), the Court affirmed a trial court's decision to reject a plea agreement where it was offered one day before trial and well after the cut-off date for pleas. The Court noted that the trial court's decision enhanced its docket control and eliminated unjustifiable expense and delay, and was, therefore, proper. Id. at 567.
