In People v. Butler, 30 Mich App 561; 186 NW2d 786 (1971), the Court, reversing the defendant's conviction, found that the defendant was denied due process of law when the prosecutor intimidated a potential defense witness by telling him outside the courtroom that he was under investigation, regardless of whether he testified at the trial, and advising him of his right not to testify.
