Sarin v. Samaritan Health Center

In Sarin v. Samaritan Health Center, 176 Mich App 790; 440 NW2d 80 (1989); the plaintiff brought a contract claim against the defendant hospital for violation of its bylaws in considering his staff privileges, a tortious interference claim against individual staff members, alleging that the individuals had conspired to induce the hospital to breach the contract, and a tortious interference claim against all defendants for improperly instigating and conducting the malicious investigation of plaintiff. Id. at 792. The Sarin Court affirmed the dismissal of the plaintiff's claims against all defendants pursuant to the judicial nonreview doctrine, noting that the method by which hospital personnel reached the decision on staff privileges was not reviewable. Id. at 794-795.
