Carter v. Reynolds

In Carter v. Reynolds, 345 N.J. Super. 67, 783 A.2d 724 (App.Div.2001), the Court concluded vicarious liability should be imputed to the employer for an auto accident that occurred when the employee was commuting home from work because the employee's employment responsibilities required her to have a vehicle at work for off-site client visits. The Court pointed out that at least a third of her work time was off-site. Id. at 74, 783 A.2d 724.
