LaMarca v. Pak-Mor Mfg. Co

In LaMarca v. Pak-Mor Mfg. Co. (95 N.Y.2d 210 [2000]), the Court of Appeals upheld jurisdiction over a Texas manufacturer which was engaged in interstate commerce because the defendant corporation "itself forged the ties with New York," and "took purposeful action, motivated by an entirely understandable wish to sell its products here" (LaMarca, at 217).
