Matter of Jewish Child Care Assn. (Sanders)

In Matter of Jewish Child Care Assn. (Sanders) (5 NY2d 222, 229 [1959]), the Court of Appeals, New York's highest Court, held that the trial court had not abused its discretion in removing a child from the care of the foster parents, observing that "indeed, it is the extreme of love, affection and possessiveness manifested by the foster parents, together with the conduct which their emotional involvement impelled, that supplies the foundation of reasonableness and correctness for his determination."
