In Matter of Zelmanoff (Loft Bd Order No. 939, Aug. 17, 1989), the Loft Board invalidated an agreement under which a building occupant would have been required to cease using the unit for residential purposes. Zelmanoff invalidated an agreement made in 1983, the same year as the instant option was exercised.
