Minott v. City of New York

In Minott v. City of New York, 203 AD2d 265 [2d Dept 1994] the court granted municipal defendant's motion for summary judgment, thereby dismissing his causes of action for false arrest and false imprisonment finding that the police had ample probable cause to arrest him for forcible rape after "the victim identified the plaintiff by name, physical description, and place of employment, and described, in detail, the events in question" (Minott at 267).
