In Moet II v. McCarthy (229 AD2d 876 [3d Dept 1996]) the Court held that a notice of default was defective where it did not comply with the requirements of the mortgage therein that such notice must, among other things, state the promise or agreement that the mortgagor failed to keep and the action that the mortgagor must take to correct that default.
