People v. Collado

In People v. Collado (259 AD2d 626 [2d Dept 1999], lv denied 93 NY2d 923 [1999]), the defendant was convicted of four counts of that crime. The court file reflects that the defendant possessed three grenades and one football-sized remote-controlled bomb. A chemist testified that all of the bombs contained TNT. All but one of the bombs also contained flash powder. The remote-controlled bomb contained a higher concentration of TNT over flash powder than those grenades containing both substances. The issue of multiplicity was not discussed in the appellate decision in that case.
