People v. Walls

In People v. Walls, 276 A.D.2d 726, lv. to app. den'd 96 N.Y.2d 739, the Appellate Division, Second Department held that the police had reasonable suspicion to stop and detain the defendants when two hours had elapsed since the commission of the crime, the complainant saw his assailants in the neighborhood approximately 30 minutes prior to the stop, "their physical appearance and clothing fit a general description of the two attackers provided by the complainant, and they were observed together around the block from the crime scene." (People v. Walls, 276 A.D.2d at 726 - 727.)
