Ragusa v. New York State Dept of Law

In Ragusa v. New York State Dept of Law (152 Misc 2d 602, 578 NYS2d 959 [Supreme Court, New York County 1991], the court found that: "There is no demonstration that there is any judicial proceeding or law enforcement investigation in progress involving Matsushita. The Attorney General's action against Matsushita has resulted in a judgment. The judicial proceeding and the investigation are over. That the injunction contained in the judgment has several years to run and might at some time be violated is hardly an assertion, much less evidence, that a law enforcement investigation is going on which would be interfered with by disclosure of evidence of Matsushita's past anti-trust activity in this State. That something might occur in the future is a wholly speculative proposition' . . . . No allegation is made that by revealing the demanded information investigative techniques would be disclosed."
