In Strohschein v. Northern Assurance Company of America, 136 A.D.2d 625 (2d Dep't -1988), The 2d Dep't Appellate Court affirmed the grant of summary judgment to defendant-insurer for compliance with Insurance Law ["Ins. L."] 3425 (h) [proof of mailing of notice of cancellation] by defendant's affidavit of service including "verification "by a U.S. Postal Employee" that the names and addresses of policyholders actually appeared in the window of envelopes containing the notices of cancellation. The defendant add-tionally submitted a certificate of mailing which evidenced that the notice of cancellation ca addressed to the plaintiffs was actually received by the post office."
