The plaintiff in that action was subjected to two surgeries and the possibility of a third in comparison to plaintiff's six and the prognosis of a third. In Vasquez, the injuries were a comminuted fracture of the left calcaneous, which was surgically repaired by internal fixation and a second surgery to remove calcification of the calcaneous.
