Vickers v. Home Fed. Sav. & Loan Assn. of E. Rochester

In Vickers v. Home Fed. Sav. & Loan Assn. of E. Rochester (56 A.D.2d 62 [4th Dept 1977]), the Court allowed a class action for alleged violation of the federal Truth-in Lending Act (TIL), because the federal statute authorized class actions under Federal Rules of Civil Procedure rule 23, even though there were statutory penalties for the violation of TIL.
