In Villaseca v. City of New York, 48 AD3d 218 [1st Dept 2008], on appeal, the award for the loss of the plaintiff wife's loss of services was $ 250,000 up to the date of the verdict and $ 500,000 for future loss of services. However, in that case the Court only awarded for loss of services. There was no mention of loss of society.
