Midland Steel Prods. Co. v. U.A.W. Local 486

In Midland Steel Prods. Co. v. U.A.W. Local 486 (1991), 61 Ohio St.3d 121, 123, 573 N.E.2d 98, Midland Steel filed a "charge of contempt and/or motion for order to show cause" against union members who allegedly violated a temporary restraining order by threatening or intimidating persons leaving or entering the Midland Steel facility. The Supreme Court of Ohio held that a nonparty may be found in contempt for violating an injunction by aiding and abetting a party who violates an injunction if that person had actual notice of the injunction. Id. at 126.
