State v. Bridgeman

In State v. Bridgeman (1978), 55 Ohio St.2d 261, 381 N.E.2d 184, the Ohio Supreme Court set forth the standard of review for a challenge to the sufficiency of the evidence. If "reasonable minds could reach different conclusions as to whether each material element of a crime has been proven beyond a reasonable doubt," then the criminal defendant may not prevail on a challenge to the sufficiency of the evidence.
